Available Finishes for Multi Pocket Dust Collecting Bags

Standard Glazed Finish Multi Pocket Dust Collecting Bags are made from polyester needlefelt and are used for general dust collection.

Universal Chemical Finish resists moisture and oil, rendering filter media both hydrophobic and oleophobic to prevent condensation-related problems. By stopping water or vapor from clinging as air cools through the dew point, it averts stubborn dust buildup that undermines cleaning cycles. It also hinders hygroscopic or water-reactive particles from forming impermeable layers on the fabric and keeps oil-laden dust from saturating the bags, thereby maintaining filtration performance and minimizing fire risk.

Antistatic Finish pocket filters are designed for environments where fine, combustible dusts—such as powdered plastics, sugar, or flour—can accumulate and generate static electricity. In these settings, even minimal dust concentrations suspended in large volumes of air pose a significant explosion risk, especially when static charges build up as particles move through airflow. To mitigate this hazard, conductive anti-static bags are used to safely discharge electrical buildup, dramatically lowering the chance of ignition from electrostatic discharge. Compliance with safety regulations is critical: under DSEAR (Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations 2002), workplaces handling flammable or explosive materials must undergo thorough risk assessments and implement protective measures. Additionally, the ATEX directives govern the supply of equipment intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, ensuring that all components meet stringent safety standards.

Antistatic Universal Chemical Finish pocket filters combine the properties of both Antistatic Finish and Universal Chemical Finish to accommodate applications that require both aspects.
