The rigid bag filter is a V‑shaped wedge air filter, available in F7 filtration grade and housed in a durable hard plastic case. Rigid bag filters offer high dust holding capacity, low pressure drop and energy efficiency. This compact design allows the filter to replace standard synthetic bag filters or panel filters, and reduces labour costs due to less frequent filter changes.

Rigid Bag Construction

Rigid bag filters are cassette‑style cartridge filters containing individual 24 mm deep microfine glass fibre media packs, arranged in a V‑shaped formation and secured with polyurethane adhesive. The V‑bank layout provides a high media surface area while maintaining a low pressure drop. The media packs are housed within a lightweight, rigid plastic case that delivers high durability, long service life, and full corrosion resistance.

Rigid Bag Filter Usage and Applications

Rigid bag filters are suitable for retrofitting in place of ordinary bag filters and for installation in most HVAC, HEVAC and Air Handling Unit (AHU) applications. They are frequently used in general air‑conditioning systems where space is limited, in systems handling large air volumes, and as pre‑filtration for higher‑efficiency filters.
